Jasmine Teoh
Jasmine graduated from the University of London, England in year 2000 and successfully obtained the Certificate of Legal Practice from the Malaysian Qualifying Board in year 2004 after having read in Chambers with Messrs Eric Yap & Associate (Klang). After her admission to the Malaysian Bar in 2004, she commenced practice as a avid litigator in M/s Yong Dan Rakan Rakan in Klang and having a thirst for complex litigation then, she handled vastly contested litigation matters and had proven to be an invaluable lawyer then. Her then area of practice includes family law, debts collections and commercial and corporate disputes, both advisory and litigation. Jasmine is also involved as a Court-Liaison committee member to the Selangor Bar Committee as of early 2006. Prior to her admission as an Advocate & Solicitor, Jasmine had been vastly exposed to litigation, conveyancing, banking and corporate matters during her many periods of attachments in various law firms in Klang.
Today, Jasmine practises in the areas of Corporate and Commercial, Banking & Finance, Real Estate, Construction and Wills & Probate. She have advised both onshore and offshore clients on a diverse range of corporate and commercial deals where her portfolio encompasses the provision of legal and strategical advice on disputes between directors or shareholders, the drafting of various agreements (including contracts for the supply of goods and services, joint venture agreement, shareholders agreement and construction contracts), the handling of local and cross-border transactions including the acquisitions of companies, real property (for example, hotels, medical centres and other mixed residential/commercial properties) and other assets. She also advises on property financing matters and has provided talks to bankers on legal issues involving cross-border financing.
