Having nurtured a passion for law from a young age, Jay graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from Cardiff University, United Kingdom, where he developed a strong foundation in legal principles. Upon completing the Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) in 2024, Jay commenced his legal career with Messrs TS Teoh, Anthoa & Co., where he underwent his pupillage. He was subsequently admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur in June 2026.

During his pupillage with the firm, he was exposed to various areas of legal practice, with a particular focus on conveyancing and real estate matters. Fluent in both English and Mandarin language, his experience includes advisory, liaison and preparatory of extensive acquisition and disposal in the field of conveyance, due diligence of corporate works and affairs, individuals sale and purchase agreements, Tenancies (industrials as well as commercial units, banking and finance, will and probates & other getting up in share and purchase acquisitions. Recognising his traits and thirst, he is dedicated and committed to all undertakings. Jay is now part of the team as a Legal Associate following his admission to the bar.

Jay is also committed to developing his legal expertise cross border and off shore clients and strengthening his knowledge and experience in his areas of practice. He is dedicated to pursuing his legal career with integrity and professionalism, while striving to provide clients with clear, practical and effective legal solutions to his clients.
